Elements of art: colour
In Year 3 we have studied one of the elements of art: the colour.
We have learned about the colour wheel and the classification of:
- primary and secondary colours,
- warm and cool colours,
- complementary and analogous,
- and the rainbow.
What is your favourite colour? Is it a primary or a secondary colour? Is it warm or cool?

BONFIRE NIGHT
Today we made fireworks with a fork over a drawing of the Houses of Parlaiment (London).
Start with one color of paint, dip the back of the fork in and then “wipe” the back of the fork onto the paper.
Do this over and over and make a circle pattern.
Do you like it? Can you use this technique to make something different?
